In 2019, I stood in an video studio suite in the publishers I worked for and the team all watched an editing programme automatically edit a multi-camera event in a few minutes. I knew then that my career as a video editor was over (and it was). It's all been downhill from there really. Heart aches.

I worry I'm too random, but having previously focused on specifics via single accounts, I learnt: great to divide in the short term, but long term is frustrating. Maintaining many accounts daily across endless platforms - tough. It divides up life too. Trying to be like 00's me, randomness galore!

Not earning on most of the daily postings, almost all of my kayaking videos don't even qualify to earn as poor engagement apparently :'D. I'm enjoying putting the stuff together regardless. Trying different things: splicing up stuff from the past and previously unseen adventures out there. It's fun!

Then an #NHS 'human' finally replies and delivers the devastating blow that the wait times are even longer than the auto reply from their service stated.
Gone from a 12 month wait for the initial contact apt, to a now 40 month wait alone, forget the rest of the process/waiting times.
Horrific.

As predicted, waited the latest extended min wait time for my stage. Heard nothing. Chased NHS. Bot replied with what is usually an out of date set of new wait times (humans later confirm it's worse).
Assessment is: min 4.5 yrs
From referral to first med apt: min 7 yrs
It will likely be longer.

I do miss IG being just for photos, the former-similar-bluesky-app-that-shall-not-be-named - being for text. Wordpress for blogging. YouTube for diaries and long form. Netflix for all films/telly (remember when we had CD's?). Feels odd treating all the platforms the same (with slight adjustments).
