They are causing crime, not reducing it.

I think it was deemed illegal because the pretense that it was necessary in LA was as false as it is in Chicago. They will make up a reason to invade any city. Then they instigate violence to justify being there, and pretend it was caused by protesters.

I’ve lived in LA for 27 years and raised my kids here. I love this city. This violence was very clearly caused by law enforcement and it has been a radicalizing experience. Not addressing this makes you look complicit.

The federal government is attacking our city, eager to harm innocent people, instigating violence as a pretext for more violence. Our leaders seem to be doing nothing to stop it.

You are absolutely standing for and enabling violence against your constituents, who were participating in peaceful protest, as is their right. If you would like to keep your job, show us you will fight for the best this city stands for, not the worst.

I will say that schools were closed where I live for a year and a half, and it was a big deal. Not that it was the wrong thing to do, but it was difficult. I’m sure it felt like less of a big deal if you didn’t have kids. I still think it was necessary, and not worth whining about at this point.

This happened to my Facebook and Instagram accounts a few years ago. I never posted anything remotely objectionable, and never was able to contact anyone to dispute it. Both accounts were deleted. I’m sorry this happened to you!
