I loved his acting, but his directing was so good. Ordinary people and The Milagro Beanfield War are both excellent films at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I am not technically a Gen X er. My mom is a boomer, so I tembraced Gen X, but Gen Jone makes more sense.
That said I have never really understood the political apathy of the generation. There was so much going on that affected our future and so many didn’t seem to care.
Maybe because I’m old. 🤣

I have hear far more ‘both sides’ bull from Xers than anyone. Without even thinking about what they were saying. Without weighing the debate, and often not even engaging in debate or thought about it.
