St Anselm is a fantastic steakhouse, great for family-style sharing of apps/sides and very cool decor, all the dishes are like vintage commemorative presidential china. Also metro-accessible via the Red line which is convenient if you’re coming from the MD side, and decent street parking.

You can’t go wrong with any of the Jose Andres restaurants - Oyamel for more classic Mexican or Jaleo for Spanish tapas, both DELICIOUS and upscale (and great for tourists because he’s a Celebrity Chef) but not horrifying prices. Both near Gallery Place, easily metro-accessible.
