Settling in for an extended airport stay. I am thanking each TSA worker I meet for showing up. The last guy I spoke to said he’d saved 2 months worth of wages in anticipation of this - but he’s out of luck if they go to a 3rd month.

This is chilling. The President is asserting authority to kill completely outside of the law. And plans to keep at it.
We are not at war, and he is ignoring the criminal laws that actually apply (eg, murder).
No limiting principle stops him from doing this to others he labels "terrorists."

Trump: "I don't think we're necessarily going to ask for a declaration of war, I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them. They're going to be, like dead."

This is not only bad for a #freepress (though certainly it is that), it is also bad for the US military. Pentagon announces a new right-wing press corps after mass walkout: www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

It has been a long-fought quest for justice, with the ruling last week that BNP Paribas enabled atrocities in Sudan. Now the bank is appealing, claiming they were "processing normal civil banking transactions": group.bnpparibas/en/press-rel... It is time to re-define "normal" for corporate enablers

In brief, this is simple:
The military has no authority to detain the survivors of its latest strike for the same reasons it had no authority to target them in the first place:
No armed attack = No viable self defense claim = No targeting or detention authority
