A Year 10 student had members of my team (and me) in tears with stories of racism that she faces every day in Perth as a young person who wears a hijab. She brought us chocolates because she thinks we are awesome... she is amazing.

I created a series of criminal and civil cases and students had to decide what court it might be heard in. I stuck magnets to the back and they sorted them on the whiteboard.

I have had a song playing at the start of every Year 10 lesson this year, related to HASS, this created a lot of discussion.
