I tripped and fell three weeks ago, and my OCD brain has been telling me clearly the muscle pain I experienced was an undiagnosed broken rib 🙃 (note: my doctor AND my mum who is a health professional have both checked me out and they are definitely just bruised)

How old are your kids? Nevermoor is a fantastic middle grade fantasy fiction series from an Australian author that I loved reading with students when I was teaching. I would say suitable for ages 7+, though of course depends on the specific kid. There's four books in the series already!

I strongly believe church entry should always be free to all! How do we feel about charging for tours where specialist knowledge is being shared? It's one of the few ways our historic church/cemetery can raise money for restoration works, but I do feel conflicted about asking people to pay.

My friend has a 4 year old, a 3 year old, and has just had twins two months ago! Me and my 2 year old have been spending a lot of time with them, both to help out and because my toddler loves babies 😄 I am in awe of twin mums!

Our community is very much in the everyone is invited and welcomed situation, BUT it is totally acceptable for only one parent to come with the kids or stay for the whole time.

When we made our toddler's car seat forward facing, we didn't process that she could now reach the handle on the car door and open it. She demonstrated this new skill while at full speed on the highway, an hour into a ten hour drive 😬 we quickly learnt to use the child lock. Funny in hindsight!

At one point earlier in the year my toddler had an emotional support umbrella, that she carried and cradled like a baby, including putting it to bed each night 😄
