The sky seen from above and the Earth below. Where do you recommend people go and why? I was so happy to catch the moon while flying. l've wanted to catch this view for so long, especially after beginning my astronomy journey. I specifically chose a southern window just to see the moon!

Catching a plane while viewing the moon through my telescope is always an exciting experience! Here is one of those times. 🌒✈️🔭

My live footage of Mars disappearing behind the moon! It’s called a lunar occultation of Mars. From our perspective in the United States, on Monday 1/13/25 starting at about 9:20pm est, Mars went behind the moon for a little over an hour and then popped out the other side. Here is the footage.

This is the Total Solar Eclipse from 4/8/24. I traveled to northwestern Ohio to be in the path of totality just for this amazing experience 🤩 The video is sped up 3.5x to fit here.

They looked like this dark magenta cloud billowing over the trees. The long exposure pictures definitely came out brighter. This is more accurate to the eye that day.
