Short hair because it hurt too much lifting my arms for long periods to wash and style long hair. I had my stylist cut it all off.
Ice packs because I am trying to numb pain drugs don't touch.
In bed, because no energy for "up" time.

Mourning my sweet baby Vicar, my chronic illness buddy. I miss him, but letting him go was the right choice. Grief is the price we pay for love, and he was very, very loved.

Vicar would like to announce his retirement from Professional Sports, as he now has to take steroids for a medical condition. He would like you to know he went out at the top of his game.

Vicar, during this, became a fan of laps. Such that if we went in to see him, he would crawl into our laps and just...sit and purr.
