My beloved thought butterflies were a sign that everything would be ok. I hope so. Please don’t ever change the logo here.
We’re also sick of culture war BS. Especially from within our own party. People are people. Misogyny and transphobia don’t look good on you, Senator.

Speaking of supporting kids, trans kids should be able to play sports. I’m disappointed in your recent comments. Do better!

Thank you for creating that form. I hope I never have to use it for my dad, who is dependent solely on SSI & ALTCS/AHCCCS (i.e., Medicaid) for his nursing home care. Think of all the family members of SSI recipients who indirectly rely on it—that’s millions more impacted by any cuts/disruptions.

Thank you for your stand. My dad relies solely on SSI and Medicaid for his nursing home care in AZ. He has no other resources or assets. I’m a terrified adult only child who has no idea what to do if he gets cut off, as I don’t have the ability or resources to provide proper care myself.

There never was much for caregivers (see my comment above), so… not instead of. Definitely build upon that safety net that is being torn down as we speak. So angry right now.

What we really needed when my wife was in home hospice was for me to be at home caring for her. But I also needed income and medical coverage. So I worked 30 hrs p/week under FMLA to qualify. I will forever regret losing precious time with her. Our society could do so much better for families.
