What was meant to be the end of an era for plastic pollution was stymied last week by an influx of fossil fuel lobbyists, just as we saw at COP29.

For Global Witness, I reflected on how oil's plastic plan B is already harming us and why we need to centre Indigenous and defender voices at INC-5.2.
