a london friend of mine is from hong kong and is also a professional pastry chef so when she said this place did the best baked goods in hk I knew I *had* to go (they warmed it up when I ordered it so that cheese had only just melted)

had a life-changingly good croissant in hong kong last week. would consider going back purely for another one

yeah fair, at least seoul isn't an ice trap rn but that's only bc it very briefly warmed up (to like, 3 degrees lol) after the snow, it melted, and then it got crazy cold again but the snow was mostly gone so no ice. hope you've got Sensible Shoes!

tbf I'd take korean winter over uk winter any day - it's significantly colder but it's DRY and almost always bright and sunny instead of damp damp damp and glooooomy
