I’m going to be honest and open about my absence. The amount of stress I have been in has affected how well I can draw. It’s almost like I have unlearned all that I knew and unable to learn new skills or styles.

I’m in a custody battle and it’s physically hurting me. I hope everyone understands.

Aldwir: Dirth’ena enasalin… *Surana stops and turns to look back at Aldwir curiously. Surana: “huh?” Aldwir: I heard flat-ears can’t speak elven. Can you speak it?” Surana: “I can’t speak elven, but I do know flat-ears is a mean word.” Aldwir: “flat-ears are what we call elves tainted by shemlen.” Surana: “I didn’t have a choice. My grandparents were slaves in Tevinter.” End page 4 My Warden, Tepin Surana, had Dalish grandparents. By the time Tepin Surana was found to have magic (first in her family) she was sent to the Circle of Fereldan and was completely removed from her Dalish culture.

It’s a gift, from Teia.” Lucanis holds out a large box as Rook holds up an outfit from inside the box. Rook: “A crow uniform?” Lucanis: “For Illario’s party tonight. Teia felts you’d blend in more if you dressed as a crow.” End page 1 This fan fiction is an addition to A Murder of Crows quest, my Dalish rook stood out so much during the quest that it was a little off to me. It made more sense if Rook dressed as a crow to infiltrate Illario’s party.
