Wow, been a minute since I posted anything. Big weekend out in April. Drove to South Seattle to see Sun Ra Arkestra, camped a few nights in South Seattle Community College parking lot because Bebop didn't feel like leaving Sat am. On Mon we sought out the diesel tech instructor who got us going 🥰

Testing the battery bank for Bebop's 24 volt electrical system. All of the residential functions will run from this heart once it's all mounted up.

During the #frogmoon the sweetgrass is blooming and standing about a foot tall. I'm thrilled that Sky Mother's Hair is thriving under my care. We chat and sing daily as I tend their planter.
It is a great honor to grow medicine for the community.

More scrubbing and installing rugs on the wall today. My buddy's dogs helped 🥰

Shout out to the local Habitat for Humanity store manager Chris, who has been incredibly helpful getting me supplied with materials industrial rugs to cover the walls and ceiling. And I've collected enough rugs, underlayment padding, and flooring to cover the bus floor.

Hooray for lighting too!

Yesterday was a big day for Bebop 1.0. Wall insulation started going up!
Habitat for Humanity hooked my owner up with a couple sweet rolls of "Pig" self-adhesive industrial floor carpet for filthy places. The stuff is awesome to work with. Will it insulate and muffle sound a bit?
