Don’t forget, Kehoe declared the state “open for AI.” This is just going to get worse.

Taking up the mantle of sewer socialism…in a slightly more literal way.

Holy shit, ICE needs abolished like yesterday. DHS needs completely dismantled too.

Ritchie Torres has the political instincts of a goldfish. When I need a reminder of just how braindead his takes are, I re-watch a few clips of his Adam Friedland interview.

And he’s dead set on eliminating state income tax. And now wants to reduce local taxes. At this rate, zero public services will exist With all these cuts.

Schools? Nah, we don’t need those, we have private ones.

State employees? Lol, AI can replace them.

I’m going to pretend my emails and phone calls to Hawley’s office somehow got to him.

Aren’t there similar lawsuits on-going for Honduras, but with the crypto bros?

I should thank the NY Post for making me check out Miista. This socialist is going to check out the sales now because I enjoy looking out together. Seriously, socialism isn’t a poverty cult.

I have had convos where people argued that it’s okay to pay for NFL teams since they’ll bring a billion dollars worth of revenue to the state. Whereas, schools, roads and transit don’t make money for the state so why should those be paid for.

It makes my head hurt when I talk to those people.

“She should be impeached and dismissed from her position as attorney general,” one post declared.

I mean, I do agree with the post.

(Also, the irony isn’t lost on me, with my cartoon profile photo and randomly generated account name)

His 18 cat supporters?

He did say it. On the Tim Dillon show at that (🤮)

*herself. The old guy got a promotion to be co-director (one of man) of the FBI. She’s making quite a name in the month she’s been in office-between this and ramming through an age verification regulation in her short time.

Let’s see if this is all just talk on Sweden’s part.

Gee, I wonder if they’ll look at the massive right wing radicalization spaces on these platforms or if they’ll conveniently ignore them for the sparce spaces on these platforms for left leaning people?

I hear Dirk is scared of a life outside of politics after he terms out. So I imagine his full throated support of this grotesque gerrymandering effort is to increase his chances of finding a cushy job. So in essence, he took away representation from Kansas City to increase his job prospects. SMH.

So, the two counties referenced in the article voted for Trump in 2020 71.8% (Jasper) and 82.3% (McDonald). What exactly are they hoping to find?

I blame this on a lack of media literacy in this country. Without a base knowledge to parse news/stories shared on social media, all one can do is react. So, we now get Measles outbreaks, ICE deportations and takeovers of our largest cities with so much more to come.

True. It feels like the dem consultants hate the Dem base and do everything in their power to ignore and keep them quiet whereas the Republicans fear their base and do everything to keep their base focused on anything besides them.

100% agree with this. It was working last summer with the whole “weird” thing. But then that got dropped for some reason.

Missouri Republicans only listen to three kinds of people: religious conservatives, business owners and rich people. Since this ballot initiative affected one of them, it had to go.
August 12, 2025 at 11:43 PM
I can’t help but think of the saying from when Missouri was considered a bellwether state: “so goes Missouri, so goes the nation.” Everything the Republican supermajority has been doing at the state level for the past 10+ years has been a dress rehearsal for the Republicans on the national stage.

It’s not older, but damn is it cozy: The Blue Prince. Just making rooms and finding clues. It’s been my go to since it came out in April because there’s just so many mysterious layers to it.
