Hell yeah, I’m crazy about their music! If I’m not mistaken Transparent was Coil’s first album? It was either that or Angels but it was all very different from what they’d do just a couple of years later. There are some bootlegs of their live shows from around the same time that are fascinating too.

I'm going slightly rabid because reading this I know exactly how Bataille could make a Faces of Little Death film freaky and horny at the same time and now it has me thinking how nuts a mondo film by that guy would be, and it would be the most French thing ever.

Stuff like that is the exact reason I have the personal policy that the recurring preds I draw are all old enough to have seen Coil back when they were still performing.
Their first concert was in the 80s and they split in 2004.
