These turkeys put on quite the show on Saturday. There were about 20 of them blocking the road. 5 males were strutting their stuff trying to attract females. I honked my horn a few times to try to get them to move and all they did was gobble at each honk 🤣

I tore my meniscus and won’t be able to go out and photograph wildlife for a while. This Eagle I’ve photographed many times before and is luckily right at the waterfront which doesn’t require a hike. He’s always so entertaining to watch.

Acadia National Park- Schoodic Peninsula is one of my favorite places to visit. I’m never disappointed with the wildlife and the landscape is amazing. I was trying to find a snowy owl recently that had been seen at Schoodic. I had no luck but the view was worth it.

Back in October, Maine got a special treat of a large solar flare that allowed us to see these beautiful northern lights. The first picture of just red was facing North. The second picture was more west.

This is by far my favorite photo I have taken so far. Red-Breasted Nuthatches are fast little birds with beautiful colors.

This Common Eider really enjoyed this crab the other day. Eiders must remove the legs and claws before they are able to swallow. They do this by beating the crab against the water.

Bald Eagles always look so stoic. This Eagle has a mate and they both roost up in the trees at the local water front. I’m definitely glad I’m not a fish. Look at those talons!

I was super excited when I found this eastern coyote on one of my hikes. The fall colors and his winter coat were breathtaking.
