Where are some good places to do discovery for streams and interesting content on mastodon?

My ideal situation: We have multiple Symfony Messenger consumers running. I'd like to have the option to turn one off and run it manually with extended debug logging right in the console and control its verbosity by typical -v -vv -vvv.

Is there a trick to getting Symfony Messenger's `messenger:consume` command to output log to the console? It says "Re-run the command with a -vv option to see logs about consumed" but if I specify -vv or -vvv, that message goes away, but I don't end up seeing anything showing up in the console. I guess I'm curious if that message means "logs will start showing up IN YOUR LOGS", or if it means logs should start showing up in the console.

I hate how my brain understands concepts I learned 10y ago, only when I'm doing completely unrelated now.

No apparent correlation, just very lazy worker scheduling.

Looking for a Jenkins/Google GCE DevOps person to help optimize our setup. Ideally looking for a review with optimization, and a report on what was done and best practices for us moving forward from a “how to keep it optimized" point of view. We are not using Kubernetes, and unless K8s can being […]

Is there an easy way to get into @phpstorm's "git merge and conflict resolution" UI if you've started the merge or rebase on the CLI? PhpStorm appears to be aware I'm in the middle of a merge, but opening the files directly just shows the inline <<<< >>>> text markers and not the nice conflict […]

I'm looking for projects that have a nice repository to docs workflow setup. Looking at @phpdoc and readthedocs and not sure they are even compatible without something in between them. Links to projects or libraries doing something along these lines in the PHP world would be appreciated!

@sean I’ve finally gotten around to getting Ghost set up for a few of my older domains. How has your time with Ghost gone? Any suggestions for things I should look into for doing fediverse integration? I enabled the experimental activitypub integration stuff and noticed one of your sites was […]

Does anyone have references or suggestions for exploring using Junie (jetbrains/phpstorm) with more complicated guidelines like multiple files and something resembling "commands" where I can ask/specify certain tasks without having to enter a lengthy prompt every time?

So, it turns out the nix configuration I was using doesn't play well with pkgs.php.buildEnv. While this method allows me to add extensions from nixpkgs, the bundled pecl and pear are hardcoded to the PHP without the extensions in the nix store.

Is anyone out here involved in the nix + PHP […]

Does anyone know why `pecl` and `pear` commands would be generating `ssl://` urls? I’m getting errors like this:

> Connection to `ssl://pear.php.net:443' failed: Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?

I’ve tried to ensure openssl and […]
