I’ve already had a few conversations with people in Spanish at work and I’ve gotten really good feedback! ☺️ I definitely understand a lotttt more than I can speak, but even that is helpful when someone’s English isn’t that great. #langsky

I’ve really missed this place. 😢 my Norwegian is going well. My listening is a solid B2 and my reading is B2+ maybe? I’m reading an incredibly difficult book but I’m enjoying it immensely. ☺️ I also started Spanish a few months ago!

Also idk if I mentioned, but my secret language is Armenian! I’ve been learning it for almost a month now and I’m still going at it. 🥰 it’s super challenging but I love it.

I started a book tonight! 🥰 I just read the foreword and looked up words I didn’t know. My Norwegian friend got me this when I met up with her in Oslo a little while ago, “Syv Meninger Med Livet” 🩶🩶

There’s a language I’ve always kind of wanted to learn, so I decided to give it a shot. A woman at work asked if I spoke it and I said no, so we spoke through a translator app lol. I’m going to keep it a secret for now, because something else could distract me tomorrow. 🙈

Also, I’m in Norway for another 5 days and it’s been so rewarding. Being able to read the descriptions of things at the museum and explaining them to my mom has been incredible. 🥰

I did the unit 2 test for Slovene and got 17/20. I really need to work on conjugations because those are the ones I got wrong/misspelled. But I’m proud of myself anyway! ☺️

I’ve been dabbling in Slovene for exactly a week. I only do about 20 minutes and it’s a challenge but I really enjoy it so far. I know I’ll be saying different things if/when I get to the grammar. 🙈

I’m excited to report that the Norwegian podcast I started listening to last year is easy to me now. I have moved on to more native ones on NRK. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 this time last year I was scared to start listening to podcasts because I felt like I wasn’t ready even though I was.

I’m able to read articles, listen to podcasts (Oslo and Bergen dialects anyway), watch tv with Norwegian subtitles. I’ve even looked for jobs in Oslo for the day I’m brave enough to deal with the weather. 😂 #langsky
