Loves: Boston sports, democracy, bourbon, DC statehood
Dislikes: Fascism, the Yankees, most IPAs, the 47th President of the United States
It's not that they're stupid, it's that they're malignant. And they are absolutely willing to bring harm--even irreparable harm--to the United States in furtherance of their objectives, to say nothing of the harm visited on federal employees. They will 100% attempt to do this.

I don't think it's a bluff at all--I think they're dead serious. Democrats still absolutely must stand their ground, but it's because appeasement of tyrants never, ever works, not because Trump and his army of criminals are bluffing.

Strikes me as a peculiar metric. If that's the worst one can come up with, that's a pretty good indicator of him being a solid candidate, and I only just heard of him this morning.

Lacking anything resembling more than limited autonomy, I think it a little unfair to compare DC to Boston, which is part of a state (limited Congressional control compared to DC) that has a governor and voting federal representation united in opposition.

So then you are the white savior who knows better than the communities that have a majority of their votes to Harris. Fear not, there’s an entire right wing grift machine that has made the Candace Owenses of the world a lot of money. You’ll fit right in.
March 12, 2025 at 5:19 PM
How exactly do you think most minorities voted? What a shame they didn’t know their interests as well as white saviors like you.
March 12, 2025 at 5:09 PM
You decided to facilitate Trump’s election. Great for your priority of endlessly critiquing power but bad for the marginalized communities you chose to forsake. When LGBT suicides spike, more women who need abortions die, and underfunded schools close, at least you’ll have your principled stand

The guy whose replies to himself is definitely secure in his reasoning. Congratulations, you actually did the meme—I hope the feelings of superiority comfort you as more and more of your compatriots get victimized.
March 12, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Looks like your policy of clinging to political fantasies resulted in an administration willing to arrest people for thought crimes and then move them around the country in a way to avoid SDNY's jurisdiction. Way better than voting for the scary black woman--Jill Stein must be so proud of you.
March 12, 2025 at 4:26 PM
Sweetheart, between us, I'm the only one who voted for and donated to the one viable candidate running against Trump. Sorry the black lady offended you so much--I hope the "ICE black-bagging people" was worth it!
March 12, 2025 at 4:19 PM
I never said they were being disrespectful, that's another one of your Trumpian lies. If anything, you should be thrilled--you got rid of Genocide Joe and that wolf in sheep's clothing Kamala. Congrats! Mahmoud's abduction definitely would've happened in a Harris administration!
March 12, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Then that's you, because I haven't endorsed anything, unless you think that the only way to oppose the trust fund glampers preventing their fellow students from accessing their classes is to embrace a specific policy of the Trump administration. You seemed smarter than that, but I may have misjudged
March 12, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Yes, you can only focus on X if X is worse than Y. Sounds like you studied at Trump University.
March 12, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Except I didn't say anything about speech, but rather actions designed to prevent students from attending class and restricting their movement. Wild to me that you're able to use a computer, communicate in intelligible English, while possessing the logic and reasoning skills of a MAGAt.
March 12, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Apparently you don't have opposable thumbs. Guess you're using speech-to-text?
March 12, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Yeah, 'cause that's exactly what I said. If you have opposable thumbs, you should at least be able to simultaneously disdain snatching people off the street for thought crimes and the trust fund performance artists who thought they had the right to prevent students' movement on campus and attendance
March 12, 2025 at 2:14 PM
And for students who want to attend the very expensive classes they paid for, the solution is to...what, wait for their classmates to stop illegally blocking their attendance?
March 10, 2025 at 3:29 PM
But then I don't get to insult him. 😁

The current head of HHS is Secretary Xavier Becerra who is very clearly a man, you impossibly stupid dipshit.
November 21, 2024 at 9:01 PM
This is in turn going to give more fuel to antisemites on the right and the left. Gross.

If you scroll past this post fast enough, your brain will think you just read something about a glory hole.
November 17, 2024 at 5:29 PM
It's not either/or. I give to my local abortion fund because I believe in pre-viability abortion on demand without reason or apology. I give to Democratic candidates and organizations because I want them to get elected. Paying for death row lawyers will not win you a critical mass of votes.

You poor dear. You used the passage of time as a reason that Palestinian rights to return are valid and Jewish ones are not. If you were smart, you'd have figured out that such a calculus just incentivizes zero justice for the Palestinians until enough time has passed to negate their claims.
November 16, 2024 at 5:19 PM
If it were up to me, it would be to obstruct in any way possible until we get the House back (ideally in 2026, Senate is too far-fetched right now). That means using state governments, courts, and the filibuster, while investing in comms and field to highlight the fight and what we'd do differently.
November 16, 2024 at 5:18 PM
LOL, so you're incentivizing the Israeli government to either perpetuate an indefinite occupation, or just ethnically cleanse all the Palestinians in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank until "that's not [their] home anymore, [their] homeland is wherever [they] ended up".

You sure you want to do that?
