Another orange cola I enjoyed while in Germany - Fritz-Limo.

Paulaner "Spezi", a soft drink also available imported to the US under the name "Sunset". Got introduced to this in Germany. Delicious Fanta/Cola mix.

MONOWAVE. A really thoughtful "emotion platformer" with a striking scratch paper art style. You solve puzzles by transferring feelings to other animals, and together, you all "clear the path".

THANKS, LIGHT. You use a flashlight to turn 2D shapes into 3D objects, giving them weight and gravity to solve platforming puzzles. They even add a "dark flashlight" later to revert objects back to 2D

The Korea booth at #gamescom went hard. We interviewed two of the developers showcasing there -- THANKS, LIGHT and MONO WAVE. More about their games in the replies below.

PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant. The booth at #gamescom was a hit with attendees, it simulates planet defense through interacting with one big cannon and we got a chance to interview Raffa, one of the developers behind the project and hope to have the interview up soon.

Here's the English translation for the activity booklet (MTL, don't shoot the messenger). ZZZ isn't my thing but was with a friend so stood in line with them. I still got merch for going through it though.

Booth was managed by Princeton Kuway. They had a survey, pic of which is attached.

Zenless Zone Zero had a collab with Aston Martin. Thought I posted this, but didn't. Here's a bunch of it. #gamescom

ONL hall at #gamescom - used for more than that but looked cool nonetheless.

Akabaka's Sucker for Love series is back, and with a new publisher this time (Black Lantern Collective). Sucker for Love: Crush Landing has you dating a shape-shifting comet that's both naive and infinitely wise to the secrets of the universe.

After burning down an orphanage on behalf of Nintendo because they found a couple MIG switches, Bowser decided to check up on SEGA's booth to check in on their progress of similar debauchery. Lookin' good!

MGS3 Delta. Spent an hour in line on the final day of #gamescom (Sunday). 20 minute play session of the very beginning of the game, with market-research questions in the title screen. Played it on Kojima's birthday, that is truly a sin.

This low-stakes booth (Meme Kombat) looked cool, but then I realized it was associated with NFTs.

There's a narrow number of respectable artists I've seen online that leverage NFT marketplaces like OpenSea to make money. However this wasn't it in my opinion.

Lords of the Fallen booth. Didn't go in but man it looks cool. They were tattooing people there, lol.

Games, Japan at #gamescom. Despite having taken the pic I didn't play any, but I did spot Sky The Scraper and that was a welcome sight for sore eyes.

Speaking of that -- as a consumer, I wonder if exorbitant displays at gaming conventions convert into sales, or if it's just a way to level out budgets for AAA. Call of Duty Black Ops 7 had a tie-in with a local "flavor milk" brand and the line was just as long as the rest of them to play the game.

Across the Rhine, Sony had a free Helldivers II event during #gamescom to promote the fandom. It started out modestly attended but got busier as the night went on. They had a cosplay contest, and a great selection of food.
