Went by an estate sale last weekend and didn’t find much but I did grab this cool dude for a buck. Just missed the halloween season but he’ll be ready for next year.

Its been a few months since I’ve finished a book, but I’ve been grinding out a chapter or two every day. Feels pretty good to be able to shelve this one. What really depresses me now is I used to be a fast reader and lately it takes me a two to three times as long to get through a book.

Swung by one of my favorite stores, Coin Corner & Hobby, today for the first time in a while. Spied these vintage Tomica cars in their display and was impressed with how nice of condition they were in. I was originally only going to grab one if they had any, but then decided to take these three

I’ve been sitting on a genesis system for a while now, but didn’t have any games for it. I decided to start my library this weekend.

I’m not a full on die-cast collector, but when they are cheap or are something my brothers and I had as kids, I could be mistaken for one.

Dear Taco Bell employee. I know you don’t get paid a ton, but could you take a bit more effort to not include the shitty parts of the tomato in my chalupa. Easy way to remember is that you don’t like smoking stems and I don’t like eating them.

I was looking through a rad booth at the flea yesterday and saw a Chuck E. Cheese shirt but it was a kid’s size and not the era of Chuck I collect. The booth owner said he had a hat and dug around looking, while I expected something from the same time. Nope! Turned out to be my favorite purchase!

Finally got these cleaned up. At the auction a few weekends ago, one of the lots I purchased was a tub full of plasticware. These were the pieces that got me to bid on them; the MOTU cups in particular.

Grabbed this last week because I’m a fan of @oeming.bsky.social and really enjoyed his Mice Templar series back in the day. This one did not disappoint. Anthropomorphic monks fighting ghosts and other spirits? What’s not to love. If you like great comics, this series is worth checking out.

Halloween is nearly over and the seals on Mariah Carey’s cell are weakening We are going to try and strengthen the locks for a couple more hours. Wish us luck.

My entry into this week’s #vintagetoytuesday is a line of toys from Worlds of Wonder that I always wanted as a kid but never got: Lazer Tag! For not having them when I was younger, I have accumulated a pretty decent sized collection now as an adult.
