The American handed Leamas another cup of coffee and said, “Why don’t you go back and sleep? We can ring you if Mrs Dalloway shows up.”

The first time I laid eyes on Mrs Dalloway she was drunk in a Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith outside the terrace of The Dancers.

What a poorly written review!

Reap the whirlwind, Charlamagne. You were lame during the campaign, and now you’re asking the GOP quislings to act up? What a damn waste of airtime and my time.

Bit late to the ”conservative writing about outgoing Trudeau’s self-regard” party, David. Already read, Coyne, and the other columnists. I know it’s fun and I know it’s the almighty Atlantic, but hey conservatives, I GET YOUR MESSAGE !🙄

I work in a bookstore. The magazine rack faces our checkout counter. I gotta look at THAT photo for a frickin’ month? Jesus Christ on skates!

I agree. When the loons and trolls start showing up you know it’s on its way. Where, I don’t know.

“Whither Willie”?

Garland released it as a single with the “muddle” lyric and it was perfect for the war torn times, and hugely popular among American troops overseas. Btw, I’ve seen the lyrics cut for the film version. Garland was right. The family is moving, not being carted to the guillotine.

I don’t care about the lyric change. It was written for, Meet Me In St Louis, and actors, Judy Garland and Fred Payne, thought the lyrics were a downer and asked for changes. Several lyrics were changed for the shoot but “muddle” was left. 1/2

Poilievre will bend over backwards for Trump. They are of a kind. An election will put it in this quisling. I’m in no hurry for that inevitable day.
