I've had this same handle on twitter since 2009. Here for wargames, history, and friendly chats with nice people. Same as it ever was.
I see your mandatory, and raise you to life-or-death. Your bet. 😎😉

Welcome back, Robert! It’s so good to see you here. 😀

When you travel frequently to the same location, it’s nice to have a couple of haunts to return to each time, isn’t it? (Cue the theme song from ‘Cheers!’) 😊

Nice! That stops me in my tracks as I walk into a gallery. 🖼️

Well, I definitely remember your posts about AmRev and related games before there was a TPA. I had drifted back into the hobby after many years, and was delighted to find other gamers with similar interests, along with designers and artists that we still learn from and interact with today. 😊

I’m proud to say that I knew you back before you were famous. Congrats, guys! Those truly are *ASTOUNDING* numbers. 🏆

I purchased it late last night as soon as the Steam wishlist notification arrived. Loved the preview vids, and can’t wait to thoroughly explore it. Dark days of winter ahead: SOLVED! 😎

You’ll end up getting a Lifetime Achievement award like TC, I’m sure of it. 😉

At least it wasn’t a talcum powder cannon. 😄

Port Darwin. That’s a nice name. 🤭

I named my fists E and mc² because they convert mass to energy (and vice versa) at the speed of light. 🥴🥊

Grant, you are truly second to none when it comes to posts that build the hobby and contribute to its ultimate success. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving!

I love RTT! Hope to see it mature with paid digital-only versions of games, with par (or better) returns for designers, artists, publishers, and the platform itself. Remove cogs, inventory, and shipping costs of cardboard. Bespoke apps have a place, but I’d rather have this model at scale. 🙏

Congratulations, Peter! I’ve only recently discovered your work via social platforms, but it’s clear even in that short time the recognition is very well deserved. Beautifully written citation, btw. 🙌😀

If it doesn’t say Nils on the tin, I think twice about buying it. 👊😇

The zero-th actually is, right? 😉 #RTT #FTW

Always a highlight of the week! Thanks for all you do. 🍻

Must admit, I miss A0’s original art design from the prototype.

It would be an injustice not to point out that you have not only designed games that are Top 10 favorites for many of us, Volko, but that you have conceived of and brought to bear multiple *series* of games that have brought other designers into the fold to continue and extend the intent. Bravo! 🎖️

Between you and @sebastianbae.bsky.social posting about this today, it is suddenly dead center on my radar. TY! Off to watch the vid. Next step after that is the buy button. 😃

There was a little treaty about that, say around 1920. 😁🇫🇷

This really looks beautiful on the table. I like the way the counters pop against the more muted (but very detailed) map. It supports the POV that you’re in the map room of an army HQ, as VUCA says in their product blurb. (Arguably many wargames fit that, but this nails the vibe, imho.)

Very nice! Any special plans for the anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn, perhaps game or club related?

Gotta love Jerry “no disclaimer that this is preproduction art needed” White’s designs. 😎
