The theory was to make up for losing low propensity voters with high propensity but more moderate to conservative voters. It wasn’t a totally misguided strategy. Hopefully the democrats have finally learned that republicans vote for republicans no matter what.

In the 90’s there was a culture shift towards acceptance even while the broader society was still very homophonic. I think for young boys now signaling homophobia seems edgy and cool when in reality it just makes them total dork wads.

I was planning to quit Twitter after the election either way. It had become so odious but seemed like a necessary evil since threads is useless for politics and news. Hope this platform works out.
