Jokes on you, that cat tricked you into getting her lit just to do a maintenance task.

What do you mean? Seems like pretty run of the mill Heritage Foundation.

My gut check is always internal consistency. I can enjoy a good internally consistent conspiracy theory. Goes bad when you start linking them, or god forbid make a grand unifying theory.

Garland did things, just not wild political prosecutions, normal Justice things. He was just like Biden. Shock!

Easier to grasp if you zoom out a bit.

Look at the end of the road before continuing down it.

Any time spent on this, with Trump's second term incoming, is a waste. It will go nowhere, if they find anything interesting it will get buried. You'd probably harm future investigations too.

All it takes is writing laws! That can't be that hard can it?

Luckily the GOP is very good at whipping together the three moderates and the two dozen whackjobs. I’m sure it will be calm and levelheaded lawmaking.

Now that’s how you get someone to stop calling you a colonizer, engage an army of lawyers.

Some of the proposed versions were objectively bad. Very reasonable tinfoil takes would point out that was likely on purpose.

Anyone who wants to do it competently can copy Maine. The whole laboratories of democracy thing is supposed to include that when something works you copy it.

Well he runs his things like a business right? So the emails were read, then forgotten, the followup was read, a meeting scheduled to discuss it the next week, then the meeting was pushed out another week, then the email was actually forwarded to someone who works finally. Like a business!

I’ll throw a redirect on this one.

We don’t have the SCOTUS we deserve. Most people don’t get what they deserve, the universe doesn’t have a grand arbiter handing out coal and presents.

We have the SCOTUS that we *built* - same as the rest of the govt and your individual local govts.

The implementation of this law is going to be a remarkable disaster of the technologically inept attempting to prohibit something in only a facial manner meanwhile to kids they will just have to take a couple extra steps to be unaffected by the law.

I’m just here to plug Knowledge Fight for all the people who may actually want to know what’s going on in the sale. It should surprise no one that Alex Jones is just knowingly lying about the whole thing.

Stop using YouTube. By staying on there and creating content you are financially supporting them and their policies.

Reminder that Joe Manchin whipped the Dems to support a conservative permitting reform legislation, and then the GOP killed it out of spite because he voted for separate Dem legislation.

I understand if your retired parents have a 24hour news channel playing in the background all day.

The idea that anyone intentionally tunes into any of the garbage infotainment that populates those channels though, mind boggling. You’d learn more digging newspapers out of the trash.

A lot of people don’t understand S230.

If axed without a replacement, censorship increases or platforms are shuttered by litigation.

Any serious person does know S230 needs reform, and they also know reform means adding more text not just deleting it. The latter is the plan of a simpleton.
