Factoring in cost of living in Bordeaux, cost of travel, possible education stuff for the kids, I think 3 million would be the sweet spot. That much would allow us not to work, our kids to figure out their life as they see fit, and to make more than enough in interest to live how we see fit.

Currently I'm only working a half day on Mondays and a full day on Thursdays and it's honestly the laziest hell ever.

Turns out having a 3-day weekend, then a half day, then 2 days off is not great for ADHD.

I didn’t learn till 16, then promptly forgot until I relearned at 27. Now I’m38 and I’m pretty sure I’d need to relearn yet again.
