A puukko with rhomboidal grind, Karelian birch caps, with stacked Alaskan birch bark grip from material I collected this fall. 80crv2 blade. Traditional leather sheathe with wooden blade core, stitched and woven belt loop. Headed to Reno to the new owner as a prize for a fundraiser.

Just a thrill a minute in the shop today. Stacking a birch bark grip for a puukko. I harvested the birch bark in Alaska this last summer and is now dry enough to use.

Testing out new ideas for antler carving over the holidays. Antler grip, with open work carving, brass tang covering and bolster. 80crv2 blade with 24 karat gold plating.
