I visited the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove in Myrtle Beach and something changed within me. The floor plan is labyrinthine. Here, a maelstrom of chaotic kitsch manifested from a strange convergence of beach vacation nostalgia, Americana, and capitalism. It consumes itself endlessly, like an ouroboros.
