I talk about Ntv issues, LGBT issues, intersectionality, BDSM, politics, Camp, fashion, music, psych, healthcare, audhd, transmasc issues, vocaloid, & horror movies. Taken. Yes, I'm a furry. Sex positive.
When straight people are biphobic, they're recycled & generic.
When queer people are biphobic, theyre creative & more hurtful bc they paint my bisexuality as anti queer somehow, tell me I'm entitled & crying over nothing. They know how to hit me where it hurts bc they know I'm in queer spaces.

I'm upset queer people don't recognize biphobia as being a systemic issue! I'm bothered by the prevalent biphobia being paraded as feminism. That's some bullshit that I hate.

I hate being continuously gaslit. That bothers me!

I was told my bi ness was fake, sinful, whore-ish, perverted, annoying, transphobic, homophobic, misogynistic, like beastiality, greedy, etc
Yeah it sucks when coming from queer people but now I've come to expect it from everywhere bc of how I've seen it everywhere.
I'm annoyed they don't see it!

"annoying"
Like queer activists haven't always been annoying...
That's the point but 😅

Although there's this remaining undercurrent of the narrative of us not being real also. So... It's still there but less overt bc a lot of us decided to form communities and stand up for ourselves.

But now that just means we're annoying.
We just can't win smh

Back then nobody actually believed someone who said they were bi. I heard "bisexuality isn't real" so often irl and online.
While also for some reason saying we're evil?? It was confusing
Nowadays I see MORE people saying we're real but actually just evil.

Things were different back then but also kinda exactly the same somehow

Id'ing as a bisexual man was worse. They got Jack Harkness ("who was PANSEXUAL, thank you very much, not a boring transphobic bisexual!"), and then the entire Torchwood team got the Bury Our Gays treatment somehow despite Jack himself being immortal.

"It was important for us to make it clear that the character is a lesbian 😊 NOT A FILTHY SLUTTY BISEXUAL WHO IS JUST FAKING FOR ATTENTION."

Then you'd go to LiveJournal to be like "well I kind of read her as bisexual anyway" and the entire fandom would act like you had personally hate-crimed them.🧵

I discuss, in my work, realities beyond the definitions that constrain us all, or our attempts to twist the ideologies of "manhood" or "womanhood" into a cohesive framework for liberation.

I am both and neither. I exist.

My gender liberation is not a problem to be solved, it is a life to be lived

If I claim womanhood, I am denied on the basis of taking testosterone.

If I claim manhood, I am denied on the basis of lacking a penis.

If I claim neither, I am denied on the basis of owing loyalty to gender roles.

If I claim both, I am denied on the basis of impossibility.

Misogyny and toxic masculinity are weaponized from all directions.

The interchange of "too much a man", "too much a woman", "not man enough", "not woman enough" is the struggle that dictates the material conditions of queer people's lives due to broader social bias.

Gender is a weapon, so often.

I have a flat chest and a low voice and a beard. I often wear skirts and makeup and heels.

What is authentic to me is baffling to others, and they choose violence about it frequently.
