One of the best books I read this year. The further I get away from reading it, the more I realize it is one of my favorite books ever, because I just keep thinking about it.

I feel like the algorithm is a toxic relationship. It punishes us for conversations that happen inside its head that we have no idea are happening. 🤪

For me, this book was so much nostalgic fun. The sequel and the movie both really let me down though.

It is definitely there. I have read 3 of his books over the last year-ish time and every single books has something problematic and I’m kind of shocked new editions are not cleaning them up. In some cases it is really a throw away piece of content that adds nothing.

Is this your first Sanderson?

AMORALMAN by Derek Delgaudio, which is a memoir about a kid who is into magic and eventually ends up a part of a con dealing high stakes poker. It is such a fun read.
