After months of working on my book—a collection of personal stories and reflections from a former racist on a journey of unlearning—I’ve decided to shift gears. I was working with a U.S.-based publisher, but with the looming threats of tariffs and annexation, looking for recommendations

The world can’t afford to wait for the U.S. to get its act together. America’s instability, democratic decline, and shifting policies make it an unreliable global leader. The future isn’t U.S.-led, and that’s not just necessary—it’s overdue.

Anyone with underlying health conditions are holding up in this never-ending rollercoaster of global stress—especially with the chaos coming usa. As someone living with cancer, I get it. Stress is in our heads; our bones, our immune systems. Prioritize you. Protect your peace. Stay safe.

my grandfather—an NHL defenseman—taught me how to stand strong: Elbows Up!!! Today, with my small sphere of influence, I’m prioritizing Canada first Let’s stand up for our local farmers, makers, and businesses. Canada, it’s time to dig deep show the world what we’re made of.

this Canadian apple pie? Baked from scratch with love and pure Canadian pride. Local apples from BC, eggs from a small farm just down the road, Canadian butter, flour, and sugar. It’s a masterpiece of maple leaf magic. But if anyone says american apples are better, it’s elbows up, gloves off!

Canada, now’s the time to stand tall and show the world what we’re made of. Our neighbour may have crossed-checked us into the boards. But we get back up! When challenges arise, we respond with integrity, unity, and an unshakable commitment to our values. We don’t back down from bullies. Ever!

Y’know, folks, supporting local ain’t just about shopping—it’s about building a community where everybody wins. So whether it’s maple syrup from Canada or handcrafted tequila from Mexico, let’s put our money where our hearts are. Because the best teams? They’re the ones that lift each other up.

this slice is a sweet reminder of what Inclusive Leadership is all about. See, a good pie isn’t just one flavor shining—it’s the mix of tart, sweet, and buttery crust working together in harmony. Just like leadership, it’s about bringing out the best in every ingredient Let’s lead with heart

Had a choice buy from USA or Mexico. So, I chose to buy from an ally—a neighbor whose leader isn’t trying to undercut Canada’s economy or sovereignty. Sometimes, even the little choices we make can speak volumes about the kind of world we want to build.

Choosing to prioritize products and travel from Canada, Mexico, and beyond! Supporting global communities that align with my values feels empowering. Shopping consciously and exploring new destinations opens doors to fresh opportunities and connections. Let’s build a world rooted in inclusion

I highly recommend the Oscar-nominated documentary Sugarcane. It’s a powerful story that’ll stick with you about the horrors and impact of residential schools in Canada. This film dives deep into resilience, justice, and humanity- learning about the world is important but we must DO SOMETHING!!!

Today was a heavy one for DEI professionals in the USA—some fired, questioned for their loyalty, and even had passports confiscated. That’s harder than tying your shoes without looking. So I baked some Ted Lasso biscuits today. They’re as delicious as kindness, folks.
