[They/Him] I write about laughter, joy, and what foot-forward community embracing looks like. Love your love. Poems, bear scholar, and all around person who cares.

This is absolutely ridiculous, NFTs use vastly more energy and water than crypto.

Unnecessary and pitiable to the authors and artists whose work is being entrusted.

One of the reasons why I rarely speak of my plots, my mappings, my achievements and dreams and goals, is because oftentimes it becomes too much. My craft is intensity.

My poem “The Door” out today w/ @pinchjournal.bsky.social — alongside art by Jason Stout!

Thought about doors and the destruction of structure and how it’s all so very heartbreaking.

Check out the issue with writers Courtney Zanoski, Abi Pollokoff (pre-order Night Myths!), Dabin Jeong, & more!

I'm currently working through pancreatitis! Which is an odd and specific ailment to be hospitalized for. The journey to this diagnosis has been the subject of much of my ongoing chronicle of laughter in recent weeks.

Because it's been a little longer than I anticipated taking between posts, I'll double-head this with Luther Hughes' as well!

Enjoy these bountiful recommendations!

This Week’s Laughter is up on Riantly!

Some headiness, but trying to chat earnestly about the laugh as a bodily experience and the body as a center of rebellion.

Our breath as the source for pushing away suffering. Not in abandonment of responsibility but in resilience.

Also are you #Bun4bun ?

My January reads! Just put them all into @thestorygraph.com - really jazzed to be using this over the cesspit of goodreads. Honestly a thrilling month of reads for me, I'd gladly recommend all.

Favorites: The Unquiet Country, The Moon That Turns You Back, Moving the Bones, and Black Pastoral

What I love about a consistent tarot practice is it allows me to exercise the latent potential of connectivity regularly.

Where are you, lovers? And where is your puddle?

Another round-up of laughter is up on my substack! Please feel free to read, share what has made you laugh recently, or just share my own writings.

I offer this less as escapism and more to stress how vital it is to document your happiness especially in times of turmoil and strife.

I’ve got three poems forthcoming in @pinchjournal.bsky.social , @hootreview.bsky.social , and Vagabond city in the next few months.

Feeling beyond grateful. It’s been almost five years since my last poem publication, and I am glad these are finding resonance.

Mostly I want to continue weirdly.

Always “How are you doing lately?” Or “I love you, I miss you,” and never “Let me hold your prodigious sex in my arms like the Christ child while reading.”

Our readers for Other People’s Poems this last weekend round-robin-ed their readings. So beautiful to hear the balance and waves between Jane Wong’s, Yanyi’s, and, as heard in this video, Quenton Baker’s selected poems.

Truly so grateful to be able to host this with @theoceanisgay.bsky.social
