Heard about some memorial for a dead fascist today. Nope. Here in Keene NH, this was pride week. Well attended pride festival today after a fund raising drag show last night. We attended both. Proud to live in a community that supports love, equality, and inclusion.

A year ago we were volunteering at Best Friends sanctuary in Utah. We have an all rescue group of about 20 furry family members. We came back with Bear. A senior car whose human has passed. He was about 16. Well, today he passed to the bridge from a brain tumor. RIP beloved Bear

Our small corner of rural New Hampshire had multiple rallies.Small Jeffrey had about 150. Peterborough had about 700.In Keene, a city of only about 30,000 had two protests. One, the unofficial one had about 150, and the official one had estimated 2000. I was at the unofficial one, better visibility.

His story touched us. He has a mutilated ear, heartworm, and has been SHOT. Less than 2years old.
The rescue believes he was a hunting dog, who wouldn't hunt. Turned loose and shot. Sounds like what Kristi Noem did. Well, he is safe now.

I was in the hospital for six days two weeks ago. My wife said he was constant vocalizing, and refused to eat for the first four days. I swear one of my previous cats is coming through. I know it sounds crazy. Never in my 72 years have I had that feeling.
