I wish the league didn’t have any. There seems to be no consequences for these teams that draft/sign/retain players with serious off the field concerns. And it sucks that the teams that do things the right way are never rewarded for it. All it takes is one team to be ok with the optics.

Been thinking about this lately RE: QBs. How many have been ruined by being drafted to a bad team or bc of poor fit. QBs drafted in the top 10 to lesser teams versus a Brock Purdy type going to a very good team and having more protection and weapons. What could these QBs have done on other teams.

Fields still has potential, and he brings excitement and play making ability bc of his mobility. If he ties together the deep accuracy he had in Chicago with the short/intermediate throws he was asked to make in Pittsburgh, he could get it going.

Another meaningless executive order that’s more about appearance than actual substance. I’m sure his base will love it, even though there are likely exorbitant costs associated with it and zero actual benefits/outcomes.
