Whether it’s right to believe these reports or not, gotta think $650 / 13 is probably where Soto talks land?

I expect $50M AAV is what Boras is ultimately looking for…

Whenever I miss baseball during the offseason, I watch my POV of the final out of the 2013 World Series.

and then I miss Koji Uehara instead.

Post-Patriots game deep dive into Soto has me in the trenches in Savant. Unbelievably impressed by how much the advanced metrics love Juan Soto.

You hear it anecdotally all the time, but he is SPECIAL.

More to come...

Identify your guys, find free agent vets that fill the gaps, ideally win a few titles, then decide if that core is stable enough to keep winning and if not, start again!

Ahead of the 2024 MLB season, I started pulling together some thoughts on the state of the Red Sox, 5 years since the championship window effectively closed.

Revisiting some graphics I made ahead of the 2024 season and found this chart. Paired with all of the recent optimism around the Red Sox spending, quite a visual.

What a difference a year makes, I hope to say in the next few weeks...
