This too went through a few versions, initially having a more creepy dust-choked vibe. In an effort to manage scope much of this was trimmed into what ultimately places better, deserved focus on introducing the Ascension Cable upgrade mechanic to not muddy the pacing

And finally, the Shattered Moon Republic Research Laboratory! Initially this lab was meant to be a detour Cal would take on his path to Rayvis, but eventually became the main destination from the start of the mission.

Next up – Shattered Moon! My design work was primarily on the second visit when Cal returns in pursuit of Rayvis The Array Channel was one of the most interesting spaces I’ve designed, focused entirely around a huge laser. It’s gone through wildly different versions

The first level I got to work on was Bygone Settlement! This was a bit of side content on Koboh to highlight the air dash ability. It was an exercise of finding ways to make a readable ability gate, and neat ways to combine it with the rest of Cal’s traversal verbs (2/X)
