There is a type of person who would be in favor of fewer international students, regardless of whether it was justified. Being in agreement with those people is not a comfortable place.

Demon Queen's Enclave is where the series gets back on track thematically. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I can recall the villain all these years later so I think that speaks volumes.

Trollhaunt Warren is the best 4e adventure. It's not related to the other stuff, but it's freaking great. D&D Insider had expansion content that my table liked.

Pyramid of Shadows is very much its own thing. Doesn't add much to the whole Orcus arc.

Thunderspire Labyrinth had some decent setup for fleshing out what demon princes are, but without only talking about Orcus. The narrative setup of finding hostages gets stale by the end.
