Depends on what is defined as edgy. A lot of “comedians” use edgy humor as an excuse to be racist. However, there are a lot of dark humor comedians who get called edgy because people don’t know the difference. Like when Sloss joked about his dead sister. Or Carlin joked about how religion is a scam.
