Overall Im just happy this game exists and was made by Retro. Its a great Switch 2 game and I can't recommend it enough despite its flaws. Heres to praying for either Prime 5 or Metroid 6 in 21XX lmao

Hes just a really shitty guy who has an insane ego and wants to be all powerful, glad they didn't diverge from that. Core power ups were mostly good, liked the hidden suit upgrade. World felt nice to explore although extremely linear. Only huge sticking point is that Sol Valley is boring and barren

Also mouse controls are great and work super well, BUT the joycon mouse is miserable to use for long periods of time. I found my hand cramping within a few minutes after using it, def needs an extended grip of some kind.

I also really like how the game is handling power ups within its world. Having to break a drill(?) to get a data chip to then having to decrypt it to get the power up feels really natural considering the lack of Chozo influence in the game. Fire missles alone make me like MacKenzie as a character.
