I don't think part one worked as well in serialization as most people remember! I think the Climax worked great but the early parts with the eternity devil felt very similar to the beginnings of part 2

as someone who has been reading it only in the volumes as they release: this is the way. The tl team is one of the best at jump rn (I think "A Corpse is Talking" is one of the greatest pieces of manga tl) and the pacing feels much better when you can eat whole arcs at once. It's like Fire Punch was.
