Am I the only one irritated by the “first American Pope” statement? St Francis was also born in America. Can we say Leo is first US born, or N. American born?

So what do people think DEI stands for? Are they against diversity? Then perhaps we just start with clones. Are they against inclusion? Who are they excluding? Equity? Why don't they want everyone treated equitably?

Note for everyone who keeps explaining that the price of eggs rising is due to bird flu: This week's price increase is also driven by withdrawal from WHO and closing all health related sites. Anyone with chicken's can see that bird flu will only spread and worsen with these policy changes.

My neighbors are Trump supporters- but are really nice. They found out my BIL died and brought over Christmas cookies. Then the found out I was sick and brought more cookies, cake and artichoke crab dip. It is hard to reconcile all the caring.

Today my congressional representative sent me a one question poll (at government expense): "Would you like to see Elon Musk as Speaker of the House?" Guess who my representative is? I hit that no button pretty hard.

How many generations back will the next administration go when they end birth right citizenship? I guess they have to go at least as far back as the 14th amendment.
