I don’t know how much of this fatigue is from sleeping poorly or a symptom of the heart failure. Probably a little of both. I’m up against a deadline to finish this portrait of Dolly so I’ve been working on it while not sleeping. The laundry needs doing this morning too.

I’m not sure if I’m going to tackle her eyelashes today. Cutting and gluing those little pieces of paper is a pain.

Now that I’ve taken in the heart failure diagnosis, had valve surgery ruled out for now and have meds adjusted I’m back at my easel. I need to have all my pieces done by 22 September for October show.

This piece (and hopefully the Freddy Mercury piece) need to be done by September 22nd. This congestive heart failure has slowed me down. The good news is I found a seller on eBay who has fabulous ephemera for various artists.
