Obviously she thinks very little of the prize. Machado's willingness to use it as a negotiating tool shows her true character and this in itself makes her an unworthy recipient.

Pilots are paid for every minute of their time including pre and post flight duties and lay overs. Flight attendants must also be compensated for all the hours they work.
