Went to a DAR luncheon today to celebrate George Washington’s Birthday. We recite this at every meeting.

I had to say goodbye to this sweet girl this week. She came to me as a feral stray with 2 kittens. Got the kittens into a good home together. I named her Endora because back then she was a spiteful witch. Bit me several times before we came to an understanding. I miss her so much.

I once fostered for a local beagle rescue. I foster failed. This is the first time I saw her face. She had me at Hello.

This bear is at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Not sure if that is JB or Hugo. Btw, Hugo is a female.
