He hasn't got a clue what he is doing - he just wants to be seen as a hard man and news orgs like you are trying to sanewash it.

Same - I started watching the Tour in the 80s and have been a fan ever since. I was happy to pay 30 quid for Eurosport for a years sub but wouldn't pay this. I can still watch it here in Portugal. For now.
