He seems like a fine DC, but I've lived close to BC for years and hiring a former (and close to be fired there) head coach from there feels insane

Found the photo(s)

Really hope it's not weird I spent 15 minutes looking for this

I'm a huge fan of wardrobe analytics. I missed that, but your description has me concerned.

A little concerned that he showed up to the Hurts extension press conference in spring 2023 in casual wear when everyone else in management was in formal attire. If nothing else, you'd hope he'd have self awareness to not do that.

But it's just attire, who knows!

I can't get over that fact lawyers and accountants and whomever else knew what play the Eagles were running before the snap. The opposing Defense has professionals!

Jake- what do you think has declined more?
(a) the actual level of the discount and sale on Black Friday, truly enough for some people to arrive at 3am OR
(b) the actual insane behavior of people (fighting for a TV, waiting in the parking, screaming at workers etc.)

This is a much wider point, but are there any studies or points of view if teams should use more timeouts in the first half? I'm interested that so many teams go into halftime with all three timeouts instead of using them more liberally before important or high leverage plays on both sides of ball

He looks like he’s about to swing in to the company holiday party on a chandelier

He needs to start with wearing a tie. Absolutely insane to live in a society where flight attendants, bus drivers, and lawyers will all wear ties to their workplaces but the chief executive of the largest economic state not only doesn't wear one but keeps the top *two* buttons undone.

Genuinely think if the offensive staff worked normal business hours this week and held a Christmas Party on Thursday night their performance would be better next Monday

Thanks for the insight, that's great!

Would love to see what the result, as a theory, would be if an NFL team mandated coaches could only work 9-5 and the positives and pitfalls of that. I just refuse to believe Nick needs to work 100 hour weeks and sleep at NovaCare, but who knows!

I've been harping on this for a while, but there is no reason the leader of an organization should get that little sleep. It helps no one and it impacts decision making. It continues his belief that work/prep= total time spent, instead of efficiency. More time with his family would do him well.

Also, do we think Al landed and started prep for this game at 2:50 PM ET
November 28, 2025 at 9:07 PM
The central issue with him is he seems to be a good man with good values who also stopped maturing in 8th grade, likely thinks 'Rocky' is a film that actually happened, and has that dangerous leadership trait of not realizing your lieutenants must be smarter than you if you aren't yourself

Nick is going to have the entire team watch 'Miracle' as a part of their prep on Wednesday

That fake punt against the 49ers in November 2023?
November 23, 2025 at 9:39 PM
That is one of your most salient points ever and I just now realized it. Nick's responses are so offensive to me, someone who consumes hours of Eagles content, precisely because it's not actually that important. He's not doing a covert op in some secret place when asked if Jurgens played well or not

Is there any insight into how/why Lurie and Howie are allowing this to continue other than it's difficult to change course when they keep winning? They have the most expensive offensive in the league, with generational receivers! I was alive when trading for Donte Stallworth felt like Jerry Rice 2.0

Completely agree

I live in Boston and have four D1 soccer programs within 2 miles of where I live. My wife and I all fall would walk to one and randomly watch college soccer. Lovely time! But it was free and no hassle, even if the skill wasn't topline. BUT we have never driven down to Foxborough for an MLS Game
November 13, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Not to mention they did it after they already awarded sites many years prior. Aronimink in 2026 is on the edge for being ready that early in the season. Something MLS should use caution with.

The PGA Championship did this in golf in 2019. Weakest of the four majors, they thought moving from August (a dead sports weekend) to May (a busy sports date) would help to spice things up. All it did was bury it on the calendar and the three other majors are now leaps and bounds ahead.

Perhaps there's a team in Western New York that wants to hire a local kid as their head coach this season?

Typically, CEOs possess some original skill that defines them (killer sales person, great marketer, Product developer, finance wiz etc.) Still searching for what our "CEO Coach's" original skill is!

Not saying the tablet means anything, but it occurred to me tonight I've never seen Nick look at one during a game
