I put in my paperwork this week to retire on Dec 1. My healthcare premium is now going to take 70% of my monthly pension starting in January.

I wouldn’t be eligible for this rebate based on my current income, in all likelihood. I retire Dec 1 and my 2026 premiums will take 70% of my pension. It’s a perfect storm of crap.

I can’t understand how there is any pink in metro Atlanta for the PSC races. GA Power has a stranglehold on the consumers there. My power bills consistently went up there despite changes made to the house to make it more energy efficient. I understand that it’s even worse now. I 💙 blue GA though.
