Yea, have used mono blocks with the Polks. Impressive specs and man they sound good. polksda.com/sda1c-studio...

No, sadly only a Denon AVR S740H. I would like a Hegel 190v however. Speakers are Polk SDA 1C reference however. I believe in investing in the source and destination for best sound, and that works really well. 24 bit and DSD sound better on my system than a $100,000 system playing CD's IMHO.

No skips. That's 1 thing I love about hi-res digital, it doesn't wear out, never get pops and ticks.
