@tenaciousg.bsky.social pal… I would love your opinion on this fucking screw. It absolutely WILL NOT turn? Tried the drill attachment and everything but it’s absolutely solidly stuck. Any tips? I guess it’s going into a stud thingy? I can’t remove the worktop to investigate further unforch.

Woke up with the urge to put a hammer through this tiled fireplace and see what the chamber looks like, BUT I’m hesitant because the previous owner left lots of dangerous DIY behind and I’m scared of what this is covering (especially as the hearth seems to have been removed as well?!)

Always enjoy the Boxing Day leftovers plate more than actual Christmas dinner. None of the pressure/anticipation/hours of work beforehand etc.
This actually was not *quite enough bread sauce for me but still amazing thanks to addition of juicy goose lube (Nigella’s “light goose gravy”)
